Create a QuotaConsumption

Report one usage of a metered addon SKU. The report is accepted as sent and published for the quota ingest, which validates it, charges the business's allowances in order (the monthly first, then packs), records a repeated consumption_attempt_uid once and rejects usage it cannot record; a rejection is logged, not answered. The response echoes the usage as accepted; uid, subscription_uid, period and window_start are filled in once it is recorded, as GET /v3/license/quota_consumptions?source=…&consumption_attempt_uid=… shows.

Available for App and Internal tokens. An App reports for the business its token acts for, as itself (business_uid is required only when it acts for no business); an Internal token names business_uid and source.

Body Params
string
length ≤ 16

The business the usage belongs to. An App acting for a business reports for that business whatever it sends; an Admin, or an App acting for no business, names it (e.g., "ixfxpxc7s7shyf0m")

string
required
length ≤ 64

The metered addon SKU (e.g., "ai_credit")

integer
required

Units consumed, a positive integer (e.g., 30)

date-time

When the usage happened; defaults to now. It decides the period charged (e.g., "2026-10-05T09:44:43Z")

string
length ≤ 64

The source the usage is reported for. An App reports as itself unless it names another source; an Admin names the source it reports for (e.g., "aiagents")

string
length ≤ 64

The reporter's own id for this usage, reused when reporting it again so a retry records nothing twice; generated when left out (e.g., "msg_7f3a")

string
length ≤ 36

Charge this allowance instead of letting the ingest choose (e.g., "bc33f12d-98ee-428f-9f65-18bba589cb95")
